An international cup on Style and Accuracy in the memory of Tatyana Osipova ended in Rybinsk.
In spite of almost extreme for the entry of August weather conditions on 7 August on Rybinskiy airdrome a flourish closing ceremony of an International Cup on Style and Accuracy in the memory of Tatyana Osipova took place.
This year the cup got together about 30 sportsmen from Russia and Byelorussia. The capricious weather made its allowances in the championship chart – the champion was determined only in accuracy.
The best among women are: Tatyana Gordeeva (CSPK Airborne Forces, Ryazan), Tatyana Hasanova (troop unit 65382), Olga Zavyalova (Moscow). Among men the victory podium achieved: I. Pozdnyakov (Byelorussia), I. Sayakhov (CSPK Ryazan), S. Balin (Moscow).
Traditionally JSC POLYOT Ivanovo parachute works present the prize to the best female parachutist according to the results of the International Cup in the memory of Tatyana Osipova.
At this time we handed out an “Irbis-classic” container registered certificate to Tatyana Gordeeva from Ryazan. For the nonce we will manufacture the container taking into account the parameters and requests of Tatyana. To pay the tribute to the memory of a talented female parachutist and a truly good woman, died untimely and tragically is a great honour for Ivanovo parachute works. Making a speech at the closing ceremony the leading designer Vladimir Malyaev remarked that the Cup is valuable for us not only as a sports event but as a meeting of people who remember Tatyana and continue reaching the acme of skills.

Russian Parachutists are World-beating!!!
The fact was established at the 30th World Championship on Style and Accuracy held from 26 July till 2 August in Slovakia. 198 sportsmen from Russia, Byelorussia, the USA, Ukraine, China, Great Britain, Czech, France, Germany, Denmark and other countries contended for the championship. The male and female picked teams consisting of D. Maksimov, D. Dobryakov, A. Savin, A. Burenin, D. Mastafanov, S. Lepezina, L. Ekshikeeva, L. Zinchenko, E. Laktionova, E. Tusheva became the best in the team classification. The second place went to the American team, the third one – to the sportsmen from China. Summarizing the results of the World Championship Russian picked team qualified for the World Air Games that will take place in Italian Turin next year. Russian juniors carried off 9 medals of different merits. Mikhail Razomazov and Arina Prokopyeva became the all-round world champions. T. Krivoshhekova carried off the silver medal for style, bronze – for accuracy and double event.
The sportsmen of Russian national team prefer the parachute systems manufacture by our company. As the World Championship results show their choice is justified. The recent developments of the construction department of JSC POLYOT are a new parachute system intended for Style and Accuracy “Malva-Axioma” and “Irbis-classic” container were broken in at the worldwide competition and were favorably reviewed!

From 19 till 25 May CSPK of Airborne Forces in Ryazan welcomed 182 sportsmen from Russia, Latvia, Ukraine and Byelorussia to take part in an international competition on parachute jumping. In the meeting 11 men’s teams and 6 women’s teams took part. Russia was represented by sportsmen from Pskov, Ryazan, Ulyanovsk, Tula, Novorossiysk, Moscow, Kaliningrad, Surgut, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Balashikha, Cuban, Orel, Smolensk, Nizhni Novgorod, Vladikavkaz.
The competitions were run in accordance with a SIZM program and the international rules FAI. The jumps were carried out under the adverse weather conditions that’s why the program wasn’t executed in full.
The sportsmen competed to determine an all-star team on the following disciplines: individual and group accuracy and canopy relative work among the teams consisting of 2 sportsmen. The last mentioned discipline was the newest one in the context of the competitions.
Following the results of the competition the top position in the team championship among men and women went to the Airborne Forces select team consisting of:
The second place in the team championship among men went to the team from Novorossijsk (SKVO), among women – to Airborne Forces select team.
The third place went to Airborne Forces select team of the Republic of Belarus and to the military unit 61756 of Novorossijsk among women (SKVO).
Sportsmen from Byelorussia – O.N. Fomin and A.V. Gurinovich among men, E.E. Kozlova (Airborne Forces, Novorossijsk) among women tied for the first place in an individual championship.
The second place in an individual championship went to L.V. Ekshikeeva (Airborne Forces, Pskov) and E.N. Stalkova (Airborne Forces, Novorossijsk).
The results on canopy formation:
1 place – Airborne Forces team (S.J. Bogdanov (CSPK), V.J. Bogdanov (RVVDKU), V.A. Kostenko (Novorossijsk) 2 place – team 6 SPK Airborne Forces (Kolomna) 3 place – “Sibirskij Legion” team from Surgut.
A 17-way record on canopy formation among the teams consisting of 2 was set up at the competition. Our congratulations to the record-holders, champions and medal winners!
